Terms of Service for Discord

Welcome to Sir Lockalot! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our Discord-integrated application (“Bot”, “Sir Lockalot”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By using Sir Lockalot, you agree to be bound by these Terms, all applicable laws and regulations, and you agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing Sir Lockalot.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our application, including interacting with our Discord bot or providing your personal information such as email for account login purposes, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Your continued use of the Bot constitutes ongoing acceptance of the Terms.

1.1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to access or use this service. By using Sir Lockalot, you affirm that you are of legal age to enter into a binding agreement and you are not barred from using the services under any applicable laws.

1.2. Modifications to the Terms

Sir Lockalot reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to change or modify portions of these Terms at any time. When we do this, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the bottom of the Terms. It is your responsibility to check the Terms periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Bot following the posting of changes will mean that you accept and agree to the changes.

2. User Responsibilities

As a user of Sir Lockalot, you are solely responsible for your interaction with the Bot and any information you provide, including but not limited to your email address. You agree that you will not impersonate any other person or entity or use a false name or a name that you are not authorized to use.

• Do not share your Discord credentials or Sir Lockalot account information with others.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your login information.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your credentials or account.
• Ensure that the email address you provide is accurate, current, and accessible by you.

3. Collection and Use of Information

Sir Lockalot collects only the necessary information to authenticate your account and facilitate login to your Sir Lockalot storage account. This includes your email address and, if applicable, session identifiers or tokens used strictly for authentication purposes.

• We do not store passwords or sensitive billing data within the Bot.
• Your email address is transmitted securely and only used to interface with your Sir Lockalot account.
• We will never sell, share, or lease your personal data to third parties.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities while using the Sir Lockalot Bot:

• Accessing or using the Bot for unlawful purposes or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network associated with Sir Lockalot.
• Introducing malware, viruses, or other harmful software through the Bot.
• Modifying, reverse engineering, or attempting to extract source code from the Bot.
• Abusing the Bot to spam, phish, or otherwise compromise other users or systems.

5. Termination of Use

We may suspend or terminate your access to Sir Lockalot at any time, with or without cause or notice, including but not limited to violations of these Terms or suspected fraudulent activity. Upon termination, your right to use the Bot will immediately cease.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SIR LOCKALOT BOT IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE BOT WILL ALWAYS FUNCTION ERROR-FREE, BE AVAILABLE UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT IT WILL BE FREE FROM MALICIOUS CODE OR DEFECTS.

7. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL SIR LOCKALOT, ITS OWNERS, AFFILIATES, EMPLOYEES, OR PARTNERS BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE BOT. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sir Lockalot, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Bot, or your violation of these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State in which Sir Lockalot is headquartered, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes relating to these Terms will be handled in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
